We are pleased to announce some exciting news for 2011. In the last quarter of 2010, we formally changed our name from Spectrum Books, Incorporated to Spectrum PrintGroup, Incorporated and fully updated our logo and website. While we continue to pride ourselves on the quality print management of your book projects, we have had many requests from our current clientele and prospects alike to assist in handling other commercial printing, packaging and specialty projects. Growth is also happening for our domestic book printing partner, Friesens as they are currently in the second phase of building one of the pre-eminent just-in-time book manufacturing facilities in North America. For 2011, additional capacity will be added to the Digital Book Factory at Friesens. These improvements will allow for shorter run books with sewn or perfect bound, and hard or soft cover formats. Most recently Friesens has installed a new digital spot UV press offering precise registration for your detailed book covers and dustjackets. Read more »
Golden Cup Printing Co., Ltd., continues to position itself for growth with the recent completion of a fourth book manufacturing and packaging facility in the Fujian province, southeast China. This facility will offer an array of packaging solutions and is driven by the installation of a 72” XXL Man Roland press which can handle a very wide range of substrates, from very thin lightweight papers to cardboard thickness.
